Your Life's "To Do" List Just Got Longer: East Bay Area, So Much To Explore!
With mostly mild temperatures and gorgeous vineyards as far as you can see, it's easy to see why Brentwood attracts people looking for all types of adventure. From shopping bags to hiking backpacks, wine flights to sky-diving flights, your new home in the greater San Francisco Bay Area has so much to offer every palate that you won't know where to start. You're a hop, skip and a jump from arts and cultural events, pro sports, universities, restaurants and shopping in the greater Bay area.
Fun, however you define it. Of course, the best place to start is by doing what you love most. If it's tasting wine and eating well every night of the week, then you've found the right place. With thousands of acres of vineyards (we didn't pull the name out of thin air), the area is fast becoming known for its world-class wines. Fresh, local ingredients get whipped up into phenomenal meals, as much at the corner grill as the stylish Walnut Creek dining scene; just 35 minutes away. If you prefer hotdogs and peanuts, there's no shortage of exciting pro sports, just a ball's toss away in Oakland, San Jose and San Francisco. And there are dozens of ways to take in the stunning natural surroundings, whether by hiking Mt. Diablo State Park, mountain biking the regional parks, Delta boating or American River rafting. You'll also be happy to know about the family-friendly things to do with visiting kids and grandkids, like the annual festivals and carnivals throughout the area. Did we mention shopping in the new Streets of Brentwood outdoor shopping mall? How about performances at Concord Pavilion? Or the museums? You'll just have to come see it all for yourself.
